Mr. Johannes Gehringer

Policy Officer for Higher Education – Erasmus+ at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC)

Mr. Johannes Gehringer works in the unit responsible for the Erasmus+ programme in higher education and EU higher education policy, where he is primarily in charge of higher education mobility under the Erasmus+. He also served as a policy adviser to the Greek and Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union on matters related to education and culture. He trained as an engineer, political scientist, and linguist.
